Our Inspection and Engineering division provides a full service application for outsource and contract inspection. We offer both 2D inspection and 3D (CAD comparrison) inspection. We maintain the highest level of accuracy in our measurement using only the latest technology available. In addition we also provide reverse engineering for product development as well as the refining of future processes.

Accurate data is the most important key in resolving existing issues and maintaining process control once achieved. We provide General, First Article, Accredited Third Party, and Capability inspections to effectively resolve all of your measurement needs.

We also provide data analysis of the raw measurement data to provide you with a clearer picture of your process. Our analysis includes, but is not limited to: AVG, STD DEV, MIN, MAX, RANGE, CPK, CK, PPU, 3 SIGMA, & 6 SIGMA.

Looking for a quick conformance check? We also provide CAD comparison of your part to the native CAD model. Our equipment is the fastest and most accurate measuring equipment on the market, and we exclusively use PC-DMIS software. PC-DMIS is the most powerful measurement software AND the most widely used in the world.

There are many benefits for third party inspection. Imperial Metrology, Inc. is an accredited ISO/IEC 17025 inspection laboratory. We undergo strict guidelines to ensure you receive accurate data. Often time disagreements exist between vendor and customer as to the comfomity of product. Allow us to resolve this issue in an objective and professional manner. As a third party, we have no vested interest as to the conformity of measured parts and will only provide the most accurate data that can be given. Also rest assured that your product is being measured using the latest techniques available. All we need to get started are the parts, CAD files if necessary, and a print.

What if your quality techs are bogged down with work and your engineers are over-loaded? We specialize in First Article Inspections, PPAP studies, an data analysis that can take away any capability or timing issues that may exist. In addition, this can be done with the forms you use everyday. We have forms and software used by most of our clients. No more transferring data from a laboratory's form onto yours-just ask and we can provide it.

We also have the ability to send our applications engineer on-site to your facility to program your machines for in-house inspection by your personnel. Regardless if you are in start-up mode or in need of training for your quality personnel, we also provide training for CMM programmers and CMM operators; both on-site and at our facility.
